Spring Blossom Festival

The Spring Blossom Festival and Bonsai Show is the largest event of the year. Timed to coincide with the blooms of the cherry and crabapple trees (with Mother nature's assistance), it is a wonderful time to see the Garden. The Bonsai Show is a major show, with about 20 tables of different varieties of bonsai trees. Bonsai pruning demonstrations are helped and bonsai are available for sale. AS part of the Festival, activities are planned throughout the day including Taiko drummers, a koto player,… Show more Aikido demonstration, haiku contests for children and adults, origami lessons and much more. Artists are there with their wares available for sale, many with beautiful photos or paintings of the Garden. This is a two day event.
